There's just a whole lot going on with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle these days.
First and foremost, of course, the Royal Couple is awaiting the birth of its first child.
According to multiple reports, Markle's mother, Doria Ragland, has touched down in London in anticipation of this blessed event.
It really may take place any day now.
But celebrity gossip followers and Royal Family supporters are already looking ahead.
Yes, they're curious about the gender of this baby and they are oh so VERY curious about the name Henry and Meghan will choose.
However, there's now cause to be concerned about what the Prince and his Duchess will do after they become first-time parents.
Namely: Might they move? To Africa?!?!?!?
In yesterday's edition of The Sunday Times in Great Britain, Tim Shipman and Roya Nikkhah write that "Courtiers have drawn up plans to hand the Duke and Duchess of Sussex a major international job that could see them moving abroad after the birth of their child."
An insider then explained to this publication just where Markle and Harry could be headed:
"Discussions are at an early stage, but the plan is to find a new way of using their soft power abilities, most likely in Africa."
And also: Unprecedented if it happens.
Harry and Meghan recently made news when they picked up and relocated from Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace and into Frogmore Cottage, their new home near Windsor Castle.
Did they do so due to an alleged feud with Prince William and Kate Middleton? Or because they wanted to raise their little boy or girl outside the bustlign city?
We may never know for certain.
The Times now reports, though, that a more long-term and signigicant moving decision may be on the horizon -- but not "until 2020 when they have settled down with their new baby, which is due within days."
Harry and Meghan notably traveled to Botswana together early on in their relationship in 2017. Both halves of the famous twosome have dedicated their time and resources to charity work in the region.
So this rumor isn't completely out of nowhere, not in terms of the couple's shared interests.
But it would rock Great Britain to its core, considering the importance placed there on the Royal Family and the seemingly giant EFF YOU it would be from Harry and Meghan to actually live on another continent.
Perhaps most surprising of all, Buckingham Palace issued a statement over the weekend in response to the Times article... and did not deny the reports that Harry and Meghan could move away from the U.K. at some point down the line.
"Any future plans for The Duke and Duchess are speculative at this stage. No decisions have been taken about future roles," reads this statement, which concludes:
"The Duke will continue to fulfill his role as Commonwealth Youth Ambassador."
Fans must now wonder if it would really be all that shocking for Markle and Harry to go through with this move.
The Duchess has been trashed left and right for months by the British press and chatter over a rivalry between Markle/Harry and William/Kate continue to persist, despite an apparent lack of evidence.
“The wives don’t get on. The brothers have fallen out," says a source. "What Meghan wants, Meghan gets."
Will she soon get her husband to move very far away from his native country?
Stay tuned to find out!
As we discussed earlier, there was a huge story in the Sunday Times of London about how “palace officials” and Prince William are increasingly concerned about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s popularity. They’re concerned Meghan and Harry will overshadow the other royals (mainly William and Kate) and they’re concerned because Brand Sussex is global. Meaning, Harry and Meghan are interesting to people around the world. So those palace officials have been considering sending Meghan and Harry away, out of the country. Australia and Canada were nixxed because, the palace courtiers reasoned, it would be too much like giving Harry and Meghan their country to “rule.” So the idea is that the Sussexes might be forcibly exiled to Africa. Only now the British tabloids are trying to make it sound like Harry and Meghan want this (they do not) and that it will cost a ton of money anyway:
Fears have been raised over the cost to the taxpayer of keeping Prince Harry and his wife Meghan safe during any ‘secondment’ to Africa. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly considering a ‘sabbatical’ overseas, possibly in Botswana or South Africa, to work on behalf of the Commonwealth and charity engagements.
The Government and the Palace will open talks about the scope of any role Harry takes up and who will pay for the costs of the trip. But concerns have already been raised that keeping the royal couple and their new baby safe in Africa will put a strain on the royal protection budget of the Metropolitan Police.
The cost of the SO14 unit who protect the Royal Family has been estimated at around £130million, although experts say looking after the Sussexes in Africa could cost an extra £1million. That would include any extra pay for the officers sent to Africa with the couple, as well as their medical, insurance, travel and accommodation costs. The secondment could take the form of a six-month trip, or four months a year for two years.
Botswana, where the couple spent Meghan’s 36th birthday in 2017, and Malawi have been put forward as possible temporary homes, as well as South Africa, with each country having its own security issues.
Just to be 100% clear, the story on Sunday was that Will & Kate were so distraught at the Sussexes’ popularity that they were working with palace officials on some kind of scheme to exile the Sussexes. 24 hours later, the story has been twisted to “Harry and Meghan want a sabbatical in Africa.” Bitches, we see you. We see ALL of your racist AF shenanigans. How did this sh-t change over the course of like 10 hours? Was it because William’s fingerprints were all over the original story and it made William look petty AF? Probably. But now all of the reporters are acting like Harry is the one who wants to live in Africa, and they’re bashing him for wanting to spend that kind of money. Riiight.
The royal baby is almost here!
As RadarOnline.com has learned, the Los Angeles-based yoga instructor recently touched down in the U.K. to be by her daughter’s side when she goes into labor.
The two are very close, so much so that Doria, 62, was the only person in Meghan’s family present at her May wedding to Harry, 34. She also accompanied the Duchess of Sussex on one of her first royal outings.
When news first broke of Meghan’s pregnancy, Doria shared a statement via Kensington Palace.
“Ms. Ragland is very happy about this lovely news and she looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild,” the statement read.
Radar readers know Meghan and Harry have remained extremely secretive throughout the former Suits actress’ entire pregnancy. The lovebirds have not revealed the sex of their first child, or his/her name. They also recently stated that they would be keeping the birth completely private and would share the news with the public only after celebrating and settling down as a family.

In this week’s Gossip with Celebitchy podcast we talked about how awesome Game of Thrones is and how cinematic, epic and yet funny it can be. This is a spoiler free talk after I watched the premiere of season eight, which was the first time I’ve seen an episode in five years! I get why everyone loves it as there’s so much to unpack and it’s so entertaining. We also talked about Lori Loughlin continuing to play the clueless white privileged victim with her various leaks to the press and her cover of People Magazine. It really looks like she’s throwing her husband Mossimo Giannulli under the bus and like they’re all about to turn on each other. In royal news we discuss the wait for Meghan to give birth and the maybe-fake story that she’s planning to hire an American nanny and/or a male nanny. We also talk about the weird Vanity Fair story about William working out with the mums from Prince George’s school after the morning drop off. You can listen below!
We also discuss Kim Kardashian studying for the bar and how she’s getting criticism for it. We think she just may pass, even if it’s not the first time. We also make fun of her bland house and ridiculous bathroom especially the concrete sinks with the tiny slit which Kanye designed. Finally we talk about Jason Momoa shaving his beard and whether we like him better shaved. There was some debate about just how to pronounce his name and it turns out neither of us was right! I talked to four of my friends at a party and we all agreed that we wouldn’t kick him out of bed either way. Most of us liked him better shaved. (Sorry Rebecca!)
Our user feedback was from Just Mooya on Twitter and Dog Obsessed Girl, who sent us a photo of her beautiful coonhound with a golden retriever puppy friend.
Our comments of the week were from Marged Barge on the post about Will’s wandering scepter, Oh no on the story about Jana Kramer’s husband’s wandering scepter and Chef Grace on Lori Loughlin’s idiocy.

Loved this week's ep. 1st. Warm Bodies is delightful. 2nd. even w/heads together it was Harry who did all the hard stuff, he put himself out there and talked about his own mental health, before that it was just a lot of general stuff. Happy for him that he's doing his thing.
